A Bold Approach to Beauty

CoolSculpting®

Am I a good candidate for the procedure?

The procedure is specially designed for those who have unwanted fat in targeted areas. It is not a weight-loss solution for people who are obese. Good candidates for the CoolSculpting® procedure have noticeable bulges in certain areas they’d like to get rid of. Many people want a non-surgical alternative to liposuction.

After your treatment, those stubborn fat bulges disappear, leaving a more sculpted you. You may not weigh less, but you’ll look thinner.

What areas can be treated?

  • Chin
  • Chest
  • Arms
  • Sides – Flanks
  • Stomach
  • Under Buttocks (Banana Roll)
  • Outer/inner thighs
  • Knees
  • Upper/lower back

What can I expect during treatment?

After you and your physician select the area(s) to be treated, the device is positioned on your body and controlled cooling is applied. A gel pad and applicator are applied to the targeted area. Vacuum applicators draw the tissue into the applicator cup. Applicators are secured to the treatment area. All applicators deliver controlled cooling to the targeted fat.

Does it hurt?

The CoolSculpting® procedure can be a little chilly. Controlled cooling is delivered via an applicator to freeze the targeted fat. Though you may feel intense cold initially, this feeling usually subsides within 5 to 10 minutes as the area numbs. Because most applicators use a vacuum to draw fatty tissue into the applicator cup, you may also feel some pulling, tugging, and/or mild pinching.

After the treatment, you may feel some tingling as the area is massaged for 2 or 3 minutes.

How long is each treatment? How many will I need?

The length of your CoolSculpting® treatment will vary depending on the number of areas being treated during one visit. The latest technology of CoolSculpting® can treat a patient in 35-60 minutes, some patients have more than one treatment during the same office visit. Master Aesthetics has two systems and is capable of doing “Dual-Sculpting”, which means treating the patient in multiple areas at one time meaning saving you the patient your precious time.

Can I multitask during my treatment?

Many people read, check email, or even take a nap during their treatments.

Is there downtime?

The procedure is completely non-surgical, which makes returning to normal activities afterwards a typically easy process. Often times, patients even return to work after their CoolSculpting® treatment is over.

When will I see results?

You may start to see changes as quickly as 3 weeks after your treatment, and will experience the most dramatic results after 2 months. Your body will still continue to flush out fat cells for up to 4 to 6 months after treatment.

Are there any side effects?
